RED POINT TRAIL
Red Point is part of PEI's Rails to Trail system. Meander past natural wonders and through quaint villages near the Eastern tip of the Island.
The Confederation Trail is just 10 minutes from Sandcastles letting you bike down the old railway line. The trail has little to no grades and crushed rock offers a surface suitable for walking/running, biking, and horse-back riding. Kilometer posts and directional and interpretive signs keep you on track to benches, picnic table shelters, and scenic look-offs. Wind your way through PEI's scenic agricultural and forested landscape.
GREENWICH DUNE TRAIL
Experience nature at its most fascinating with an easy hike on the Greenwich Dunes Trail (4.5 km). A floating boardwalk takes you over a pond and out to the beach where you can view the rare dune-scapes. Interactive exhibits highlight the unique natural features of the entire Greenwich peninsula.
